The book Animal Farm is based on the Soviet Union's communism. So these animals are supposed to be like dictators and other leaders during the time Stalin was in power. These farm animals are ran by this farmer who is Mr. Jones. But those animals have many similarities and differences. The farmer cant do what the animals do. The animals can sit around and do what ever they want. The farmer has to do everything what the animals do. The pig dream meant that all the animals are getting mistreated. So the farmer can mistreat the animals while the animals cant mistreat Mr. Jones. For example while the anthem for Britain and Ireland was playing the animals started to go wild so, the farmer got the rifle that sat next to his bed every night and started shooting at the animals.
